Not very exciting words to hear from my Chinese sinsei whom I consulted for an inflamed Archilles tendon.
According to her, the inflammation came about because I have been drinking too much soybean milk and consuming foods containing anchovies, beans, legumes and red meat recently.
I am supposed to watch my diet and cut down on ‘cooling foods’ like bittergourd, wintermelon, watercress, soybean, etc. Stuff that I love eating.
All because I am getting older, and my body can no longer handle foods that are not compatible with my inner system. Depressing.
