Another short 1 week break in Seoul to mark the end of my break from work. As I wasn’t feeling very well that week, I took it easy and did not explore many new places. Found some new eats, watched two musicals and visited the War Memorial Museum in Yongsan.

Despite having just been to Seoul in March 2013, I ran away to my favourite city for another break in July 2013 to catch a breather from being in a stressful period of time at work.  I managed to re-visit a couple of old favourite cafes like The Piano Cafe and Churro 101, I also went to several new places, including the much anticipated Heyri Art Village!

Enroute to San Francisco in March, I did a 4-day layover in Seoul.  I did nothing very much during this short trip, except to hang out at cool cafes, drinking coffees and people-watch.  It was a good catch-up time with myself.

We went in April, hoping to catch beautiful spring flowers in bloom. Sadly, we were a week or two too early, as Seoul was still at the tail-end of winter. But we still managed to catch sight of one cherry blossom tree in full bloom!
